Hi all, Let me introduce myself. I'm twoguns. I'm not new to reloading as I've been reloading pistol bullets for quite some time. I did have a few AR-15's in my time but never reloaded for them till now. It seems to be as someone else said here it's only a matter of case prep. I do have one question. How do you know or can tell which cases need to have the primer crimp removed? Does military brass have a special head stamp to look for? I have a lot of mixed brass. I do have the dillion swage tool to remove the crimp but don't want to have to put every case through it unless I have to. Any help would be great.......thanks.......Glad to be aboard........Twoguns

I have been using some Sierra 69 gr. HPBT-Match bullets left over from my Colt H-Bar.

Winchester cases or Remington cases
Remington 7 1/2 primers
Sierra 69 gr. HPBT bullets
25 gr. 748 powder

Not one hole accurate in my Armalite 1:9 but it goes bang and uses up the surplus.
