Sounds like a fun cartridge and a great build, keep us posted!

I've decided to wait a bit. Since Olympic is releasing and standardizing the 30 OSM (30 cal WSSM) AR-15 rifles this fall, there are other calibers sure to follow.
I'm going to wait for the 7mm or 6.5mm version. We've waited 4 years on the 30 cal version... what's another couple years?
I can get one built now, but the chamber dimensions have not been standardized yet. If I wait I can get a chamber to match the standardized cartridge for commercial ammo and won't have to stick to home made wildcat ammo reloading.
For what its worth. 7mm verisons should push 140's at 3000-3100ft/sec The 6.5mm version should be able to do the same or just under that of course with the better BC.
The 30 cal version is already pushing 180's at just under that velocity... just shy of the 300 win mag

But then I got my Addax Gas piston AR. Sure I still have to keep a few small replacement parts, but I'll let you kick me in the balls for every malfunction I have with my Addax GPU, thats how reliable it is!
So far we are at, hold on, let me check..... ZERO!
