Hey Chris, is it ok to run gas rings on a ATAC? Also if rings are a no no should I use a spring? I have a bunch of springs i picked up for my other GPU BCG.

I prefer not to run the ATAC with Gas Orings on the bolt. You can, but it slows down bolt unlock timing.

We have tried some springs with the standard AR bolt with a couple of springs, and sometimes it screws up lock or unlocking timing, so we do not recommend it.

You can try it, and if the particular springs you have work for your upper, then you should be good to go.
