600yd scope

What scope and power level is best for competion shooting out to 600yd.
I will be useing an AR-15 in 6mm.

I have used Leatherwood's M600 and really like the holding dead on with known distances, a really nice feature! They also have an M1200 that I would like to purchase, just don't have the $$$.

There are plenty of scopes available Hawke Optics, Leupold, Nikon, etc... the list goes on and on and probably will depend on your budget...

I guess a recommendation on optics by me would have to be based on the ballistics of your round. FPS+GR+BC and I can do the calcs.

If you are not into it that much, never mind. smile.gif

BC= Ballistic Coefficient? not familiar with the formula. Can you elaborate?
