Brand new to this forum. I like it so far. I am going to get a new AR for Xmas and wanted to know about a hard hitting upper to add. I have seen the Beowolf, but being they are the only ones making the ammo, I figured the bushmaster ammo might be cheaper. I have seen the socom .458 but figured the same as above. Any opinions?

I myself am leaning toward a .450 bushmaster because of availability. Regardless of which one you pick, I'd start reloading.

Personally my next rifle build will be .458. I like the round and I'll be reloading it so I'm not too worried about ammo later down the road.
