Back from Gander Mtn. They had 185 jhp +P Cor Bon or 200 Hornady TAP FPD +P. I went with the Hornady. Only because I've used them in other cal.s before and I like them. 0 experience with the Cor Bon. And I got 2 boxes of the Hon. compared to 1 box of the Cor Bon for $5 more. If it hits any better with these rnds than the 230 FMJs I'll be as happy as a pig in shiat.

Ditto, a video camera if you have one.

From what I have heard from guys with actual combat experience the heaviness of the bullet is more important than the speed.

FWIW.

i prefer 230grn jhp's for defense and 230grn fmj for target.

i do have 185grn jhp's, but most of mine are 230grn.

i also have some +p 165 grn corbons and +p 230 grn tap ammo, but this was given to me. normally i prefer to purchase standard pressure stuff as i don't have any sub 4inch 45acp's. just my preference.

if you have a sub-4inch barrel i prob would go with 200 or 185 grn jhp's standard pressure, or +p 230 grn jhp, just to help ensure proper expansion.
