.223 AK accuracy

I was just wondering if a .223 ak would have any better accuracy then the 7.62

The ammo is generally made to a higher accuracy standard (if you're not buying former com-bloc stuff). So that already suggests some higher accuracy potential. The barrels are made as commercial barrels, so that may help too. The bolt lock-up and action flex are still going to work against you though.

I have a WASR3 in .223 and a WASR10 in 7.62x39. At 100 yards, the .223 is slightly more accurate. There is not enough difference to worry about though. Whatever is on the receiving end is not going to know the difference.
