The Service Grades from CMP have been like new. Get one of those. You won't be sorry.

Which Garand did you get? We love photos!

Congrats on the Garand. thumb.gif Those look like thumbnails. Can't really make it out from the small picture. Try a full size one.

Ooooh. An IHC. Very nice. I'd like to get ahold of one of those myself.

An IH Corn Binder Is a great find ! Excelent shooters- If you find some FN 58 ammo Or OJP head stamp That is super ammo in my Garand.
If you reload use 4895 powder it the original Garand powder..

Just read the eligibility requirements closely and make sure your paper work is in order. Past that you shouldn't have a problem. If they run in to something they will call you when they start processing your order. Right now they're up to a 100 day (!!!) backlog, so be patient.

You cannot go wrong if you acquire a M1 Garand from CMP.

I love my Garands. smile.gif

PS. Never sell them once you get them.

True enough. They are now selling faster than ever, so who knows how any are left to sell. If it was me, I would order one this year.
