Not easy to find used 10MM brass. I buy new brass from Starline Brass http://www.starlinebrass.com/index.php?cPath=1.@ 136.00 per thousand delivered.

I have gotten up to 10 reloadings if loads are kept light. I prefer Power Pistol Blue Dot, AA#9, IMR 800X, L'il Gun are other powders that are commonly used. You can look at this site or GlockTalk. Both sites have reloading forums when you can get some good information. Best way however is to look up manufactuers data posted on their web sites for the 10 MM . Alliant, Hogdon and Ramshot have enough information to get started.

Starline is the place to go for brass. SAT0613 gave you a good steer there.

I have used Blue Dot, Unique and AA#9. I like Unique for my 'practice' loads, usually behind a 175 gr LSWC I cast. I loaded up on primers and powder before the craziness, and these cost me about the same as 22LR ammo these days. For thumpers, I run Blue Dot or AA#9. I want to give Power Pistol a try, as it seems the perfect match among the Alliant powders. However, I have 8 lbs of Blue Dot to use up first.

As stated, I use Starline brass. I have a smattering of 10mm cases from other MFG's but those are total luck with something laying on the ground.

I use B/eye or Unique with hard cast bullets and depending on teh bullet weight Power Pistol, H110 and more often Blue Dot for Jacketed bullets.

200XTP with 9.8 BD is my general purpose load. I haven't upgraded the recoil spring yet in my G20, this load fires equally well from the G29 and the G20.

I prefer Bluedot for my 10mm hot stuff. It doesnt meter worth a shat out of my Dillon powder measure though. Power Pistol seems to work prety good too.

I stick with Blue Dot in my 10mm loads. 10.5 under a 180 grain bullet works well enough that I don't even care about working up any other loads.

Range brass in 10mm is almost unheard of around here, but I've found bulk primed Winchester brass at a local shop.

Now days if you need 10mm brass it's almost a sure thing you have to buy. I got lucky a few years ago with a state police buddy who just could not stand to leave it lie at the range, he reloaded .45 but not 10, so after every range session he picked up all the brass and I helped him cull it, and got to keep the 10's which were the duty gun at the time. I just rearranged my loading area last week, and guesstemate I still have about 50lbs of once fired 10 brass. probably will last my lifetime, since I am good about picking mine up when shooting on my range or on post, only time I don't pick it up is at IDPA matches.

I just order some mixed headstamp once fired 10mm from CIESurplus.com. I haven't received it yet so I can't vouch for condition but expect it's fine. The UPS shipping on what I bought was a bit much. They have a lot more surplus stuff than just once fired brass.

$175.00 for 1000 once fired???? Plus shipping!!! And it is all krinkled to boot. I am in the wrong business.

Just caught your other post on F-C headstamp and failure rate.
I take it that this F-C you are seeing with failures is the same stuff you bought from CIESurplus?

I'm with mikeythehitman. The price on that is ridiculous and with your evidence, it's crap brass.

Sounds like we need to get the word out that this is --NOT-- the direction to go for 10mm brass.
