I am a 20 year old that is planning to purchase a glock 20 soon after my birthday and Ive been doing my research on glock 20's for the past 2 years. And i also plan on buying a 6" barrel.

And I came to a conclusion of these ammo's and im wondering which would be the best for selfdefense ???

Corbon/Glaser Power Ball
Magsafe 10mm swatload

Thats all that really caught my attention. All information is welcome ty.

Many folks here (myself included) seem to favor Double Tap for a carry load. I personally carry a 165gr JHP from them right now. I also have a selection of other weights, from 135 gr to 180 gr.

The PB should be fine for biped defense.

Check out Double Tap Ammunition. I prefer the 180g Bonded Defense HP loads for 2 legged predators and either the 200 or 230g WFNGC ammo for woods protection.

Double Tap, Reeds Ammo, Georgia Arms...there are plenty of good ammo companies that make HP's and hardcast's for super penetration.
The 6" barrel is the ticket in the G20.

So how many of you use a 6" barrel for self defense? If you do, why?

When I carry a G20, which is pretty much all I carry Oct-Apr, I carry with a 6", because, well they both have 6" barrels and I am to lazy to swap them out. The rest of the year I roll with a Commander in .45 or a G27.
