I'm getting a flashlight for christmas, and I was wondering if there are any "universal" gun mounts that would be able to adjust their size to accommodate my light.

Also, does anyone here use laser sights? If so, any reccommendations?

I think this is what you might need. I have two and they work well.

Yeah that looks perfect. What about laser sights, anyone fond of a particular make?

Most lasers on the market today are junk. Crimson Trace's laser is supposed to be good, but I haven't used one yet. Here's a link. Streamlight makes a good laser/light combo, the M6X.

If you are going the flashlight/laser combo try the streamlight M6 with a vertical fore-grip. Lasermax makes some decent lasers as does Crimson Trace.

If you are dead serious about a AR laser and willing to spend the funds, Surefire is the way to go.

Most lasers are indeed trash. I don't really see the use of them personally.

Flashlight mounts, I'm using a Viking Tactics. It's ok but wasn't aware of or too thrilled when it showed up and it was polymer...yeah I know my go to pistols are polymer framed but different situation in my opinion. I want to order an aluminum mount ASAP. Most to somewhat adjust but do have a maximum and minimum.

If I might just suggest the Surefire G2 Nitrolon, it's expensive and very bright and fits nearly all mounts.

Inexpensive. Look at the Vltor, they are about what a G2 costs.
