egw barrle bushings

just ordered a nwe EGW coustum barrle bushing and flange today for my PT 1911 I'm told it should increase accuacy to a noticeable amount the pistol is already quite accurate at 30 yrds but i figure any little bit of improvment cant be a bad thing i just hope i gave them the proper dimensions for barrle OD and slide ID anim_rofl2.gif

I see you found a caliper. Did you get your grips yet?

yea borrowed one from afriend he brought it home from work for me and still waiting on snail mail to get my grips

Yep, you got the right one. The PT1911 is a Government size (5" barrel full length grip frame) 1911.

ordered them on 11-29 got E-mail today that they shipped this morning should be 8 to 10 days oh yea the new Houge grips shoulb be here this after noon according to fed ex tracking anyway cant wait to try them on its snowing here but im going out any way just to empty a mag to see how they feel

got my houge grips on today LOVE EM the egw bushing today think i got tha ID wrong though barle just wont go thru so close but no way going to contact thm and see if they can help me out if not ill just order anonther with a slightly larger ID
