Well I have never had any experience with the GG&G stuff, not to say that it is not good. I am sure somebody on this board has, though. After seeing the write up TigerStripe did on the Charles Daly rifle, I will DEFINITELY own one soon. I would look at the third down on this Linky!

ETA: I will try to find the write up that TS did. And here it is!!

Never seen their stuff in person. But everyone has always spoken highly of it.

If you have a lower in need of an upper, or just want to bring your weapon system up a few notches, then this Dominator-1 package is the right choice. The Dominator -1 Barreled Upper Receiver comes complete with the A2 BUIS, Flip Up Front Sight and our Standard Tactical Forearm. This month we are including a complete American Made bolt group with charging handle, and you get to choose between a 1-7 or 1-9 twist 16 inch barrel. It's ready to rock For Only $740.00. To really sweeten this bargain, we will ship it FREEEEE!!!

With a statement like that I would not touch that Upper with a 10 foot pole, they more than likely are using the China junk.

i've never heard anything bad about them, and if you stop and think about it, that's saying a lot. dontknow.gif

i have the GG&G flip up rear and front sights, and they are great quality. i can't speak for their uppers.

I looked and looked around the net practically everywhere and google searched everything I could and only turned up with praise for them.
Mostly sites and forearms though I must admit.
I hope I didn't pull the trigger on a piece of junk and after looking around at prices for some time this seemed to me to be a Great deal.
I hope you are wrong Nwatson99
I'm sure they wouldn't want to ruin a great rep by selling junk
Wish me luck

Well after alot more searching I feel comfortable with my purchase.
It may not be the best of the best but I'm sure it will suit my needs and wants just fine.
I'll post some pics when I get it together.
Now to find some mags.

I think you made a great choice. I have several GG&G sights and accessories and they are top notch!

Yea I know it does cost but from the prices I am seeing now this is on the low end.
I'm scared things are gonna really get stoopid soon so if you want it you better get it while the gettin is good.
Hopefully the new year will bring prices down so I can stock up on mags and ammo.

hysterical3.gif Don't wait on extras.
For an upper, before the election uppers were 350-550 for a decent brand with way more history than GGG (Uppers, they have decent reviews on parts)

Congrats on the purchase and I hope I am wrong as well, the statement about the American Made Bolt Group, just took me for a loop and with statements like that I tend to be leery about things.
I have a GG&G rear BUIS on my brother-inlaw's AR and it is great.
