I've been looking for them...but the only I could find under $1000 were the falcon mencae ones, and they're out of stock in the U.S. it looks like. You see this is why I get annoyed when people like things that don't make sense wacko.gif. Supply and demand, suply and demand. I could do with a cheap one that has a MOA reticle to go with MOA clicks, anyone know one like that?

By cheap I mean under $500.

Third, pessimists do not put their faith in princes - in government. They understand that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. Happiness is an activity; it is inseperable from the pursuit of happiness.

i am not 100% what you are talking about. CONFUS12.gif

what are the benefits to such an optic, if you don't mind educating me just a little bit? thumbsup.gif

I think this is how it is, been a long time.
The Milrad click is 1cm at 100meters versus normal everyday scopes clicks are 1/4" at 100 yards

I think the metric conversion is just an annoyance. I'tll probably just take another step to figure out distances since all your other equipment reads in yards. But if you have your knobs in the same unit as your reticle, it'll make hold overs alot quicker. Honestly I'd take a reticle with MOA tick marks, but I don't think I've ever seen that before for some reason. I don't get why they don't make something like that at all the major scope companies?

Didn't mean to offend anybody if I did. I'm just realizing that the shooting community's not as large as I hoped it would be. I just called one of the four companies that sells Falcon Menace scopes in the US and the owner picked up -- on his cell phone. Then he tells me hes got none in stock and to call Swat-All, which is apparently ran by a incoherent Mexican guy who I should probably just write an email...

The NRA needs to add rifle leagues to the NCAA.

-By the way, Falcon Menace sells theirs for $450, and Nightforce is just a hair over $1000, if anyone else is interested.

well, ya certainly didn't offend anyone here by asking. thumb.gif heck, i learned something new. smile.gif

i don't think the shooting community is as small as you might think it is, that is just an obscure optic you are asking about. wink.gif

good luck in finding one, and if you do, please let us know where you found it. thumbsup.gif

I just bought a Barska Swat scope with mil-dot recticle. 6x24x44, with illuminated recticle and focus knob. paid $150.00 for it on ebay(regularly around $225) it is not the scope i wanted. I wanted a millet scope but they got bought out by bushnell and nobody i know has been able to get one since spring.

Have you shot it yet? Hows the glass? I checked out the website and it looked nice. Of course buying cheap is always a gamble; you know someone's out there handing out deals so they can build a rep, but you never know if you're about to get screwed.

$200 w/ IR, w/target knobs, w/side parallax, w/rings, multicoated AND waterproofed???

Let me know if it works good, I'm looking for a cheap starter. I was leaning toward the Bushnell 4200 6-24x50, but for under half the price and even better features, I might just reconsider. Hope it works out well for you.
