flea.gif Anyone here make there own beer? It was one of the ten things every man must know in one of these new day magazines. Was wondering if we could get a recipe swapping thread going. I am also a chef and would be willing to give advice on cooking or just give out recipes. Grew up on wild game meats so if you need a good recipe feel free to hit me up. Beer , bomb's , bullets. Ain't life grand. thumb.gif

I was a kit brewer... the hard way to me was just that. I'd brew about 20 gallons at a time. Then drink it over my weekend.

Q Isn't it kind of disingenuous for the President to say that I'm for the assault weapons ban, but then not spend a nickel of his political capital to fight for it?
McClellan: I disagree. His position has always been well-known, and it's been clear going back to his first campaign for President.
Q That he was for the ban?
McClellan: For a reauthorization of the current ban.

Moderates...just say no.

I have tasted some really good home brew and tasted some that was hard to swallow.

I've homebrewed several times before, but it's been a year or so since I've made a batch. I've made a couple batches of my own cobbled recipes that came out pretty good, but I'm not the kinda guy to write stuff down, so I couldn't share them. I've used a few from the book "The Complete Joy of Homebrewing" by Charlie Papazian that were great, that guy knows his stuff.
