5 days no deer.

Spent 5 days out, some all day sits came up with nothing. Well not nothing I did get my first turkey with a bow, first turkey ever actually. Hen at 30 yrds.
Saw 15 deer, Wed. 4 Thurs. 2 Fri. 1 Sat. 4 Sun. did have 1 nice buck at 6 yrds, I would have shot him had I not seen bigger and still had 2 buck tags. I'm down to 1 tho.

Don't feel bad. Mrs. TG and I spent 5 days last week and only saw does, jackrabbits and a rattle snake.
Had a nice hike though. smile.gif

No have til mid Jan. Wifes gonna let me hunt Thurs. and Fri. morning in an area that I have seen a big boy twice now its just bein in the right stand at the right time. he's walked by 2 stands in the area and I was in the wrong one sad.gif

Hope so! Won't do me any good but love seeing somebody connect with something of that caliber. thumb.gif

Don't laugh at my pic. It was colder than hell and windy to boot. It was a throw on clothes go get a pick go in and warm up. then go out and cut some go in and warm up. I think the wind was what made it so bad
