I've never used their AK mags, but I haven't had good success with their other stuff.

Their SKS and 308 Ishapore mags were iffy at best.
I have not tried the AK mags.

I have some national or promag 20rd AK mags. They cause malfunctions about every 3 rounds in my Lancaster Consulting AK. Foreign mags work great..

Stick with Eastern bloc steel mags, Bulgarian Polymer Mags or Chinese steel mags. They're all proven and the steel variety can still be found inexpensively.

If you must have a US made polymer magazine, the Tapco mags seem to be better than promags.

If you are using mags as compliance parts, get the foreign steel mags and add U.S. made followers and floorplates. Each of those counts as one compliance part so you get two U.S. compliance parts per mag. Oh, a U.S. made spring also counts as one part.

The downside of doing this is the rifle is out of compliance as soon as you insert a non-modified mag.

Hit or miss with those mags. I have two transparent 7.62 mags, and they function fine with some rifles, and on some they jam. They seem to malfunction more on century rifles. One of them doesn't work on my Polish underfolder. They aren't steel lined, and they don't have a metal locking tab, so it can break off easily. Stick to steel mags, or mags with a metal locking tab, and that are steel lined.
