We all know Charles Daly's reputation with the 1911, shotguns and rifles, so I am just curious as to why they have started manufacturing the AR platform?

Besides the fact that I personally got BRD earlier this year, we decided that we could no longer ignore such a hot market segment, particularly in an election year.

We feel that the next 18 months are going to be something special in the AR segment and we are not going to miss out on it. Years ago we imported a lof of Hungarian AK rifles (as Kassnar Imports and later as KBI) and the change in the import criteria in 1993 put an end to to that. Now you have to build these rifles in the US or not at all.

So there you have it! Now I get to really feed my BRD! gun3.gif
