Okay, I searched the net for an answer, to no avail. I just bought a pair of used Wiley-X Romer II glasses with the 3 lenses. I have a question: Are there any knockoff's of the Wiley-X brand. The reason I ask is because on the frame of the glasses I got says on the left side: ANSI Z87.1 CE China The "China" part looks to be italicized. Are these legit. Wiley-X? Are the frames really made in China or did I get ripped off? They look and seem to be legit., but I just want to make sure.

I got them off eBay. I normally don't like eGay, but I got them for $60 less than if I bought them new off an online retailer. They are in excellent shape. I just have never seen or heard of any knockoffs of the Wiley-X brand. Thoght I would ask? No one seems to know...?

So, I know that just about every other sunglasses brand have been copied by the chinese (you've all seen the knockoffs before), but are there Wiley-X knockoffs or not? I've been searching for an answer for awhile, but I haven't gotten a definite answer. I would really like to know this for all future wiley-x purchases, also.

That makes sense. They just moved their production plant. There's no tag in the bag, and the logo looks like it is just friction fitted in the glasses frame and/or glued in. I think you can pop them out and pop them back in. I also have a pair of SG1's and the bag says Taiwan on it and the SG1's frame says Taiwan in the same font as the Romer II's. That is why I was wondering. Thanks for the help.
