Lets see, I was 15 years younger for one thing lol. Yes we used a harpoon, and a .410 with slugs (before bringing it on board) and quite a few hours doing what felt like pulling the plug from the bottom of the ocean.

I got sick of halibut that year lol.

Halibut is good stuff.


A friggin gigantic version of our Southern Flounders. Like our's is some kinda mini scaled down version.

Yes it's real, halibut are caught that big from time to time, more often they are in the 20 to 100 pound range. People argue that the meat consistency is better on the chickens but I'm all about the meat run. The bigger the better.
