So, has anyone done honest-to-goodness backpacking? Yeah, I know...you military guys have done your share of it. But I mean on-purpose-for-no-apparent-reason type backpacking. I have. I'm not sure I'll do it again as it's been quite awhile ago. Did some in Yellowstone. Also around Vail, Colorado. Also in the Smokey Mountains and Upper Peninsula, Michigan. I think that's about it. Oh yeah, did some solo backpacking (not a good idea, btw) near Boulder.
